Our Journey
Hi! We are two people who always had a dream of a second home that we could renovate and share with our friends and family. We always thought we would end up at a beach, somewhere, especially since we often vacationed at Ocean City, Maryland when we were first married.
Appalachia is in our heritage, our blood, our hearts, and souls. By complete accident, we took a vacation, during our son’s Spring Break, many many years ago, to Sky Valley, Georgia. That one trip sold us on Rabun County, Georgia.
We kept vacationing in the area by renting AirBnB’s until one day, we realized that our retirement will probably be in the Blue Ridge Mountains. That is when the search for a Rabun County, Georgia second home began. Finally, after years of searching, we found the right place for us.
