Taking a look at the listing for the bungalow in 2021, it definitely looked much different than it does now. A few changes brings this older home into the modern age while maintaining it’s charm. Removing a wall changes the space significantly. Altering the position of the front door improves the layout. Adding updated wall treatments transforms this charmer into an Appalachian Mountain Bungalow.

The front door used to be in the center of the home but is now moved to the corner. This was to allow a much bigger living area and to accommodate the long enclosed side porch.
One of the bedrooms was called a bonus room with a door going outside. The kitchen was expanded. A new door was added at the end. It leads to the bonus room, now the second bedroom. When this property was sold in 2021, it was a one bedroom, one bath. When we put a contract on the property, it was a two bedroom, one bath.

A few differences between the original home sold in 2021 and the updates from the 2025 sale.
